What are the departure and arrival times?
Departures take place in the morning starting at 6:30 AM from the accommodation. The return to Manaus varies depending on the package: Sunrise returns at 1:00 PM with an estimated arrival at 4:00 PM. Let us know your availability so we can arrange the best time.
What is included in the packages?
All packages include: hotel/lodge transfer, accommodation (private suite or dorm), full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner), mineral water and juices, motorboat and driver, activities with bilingual guides, and travel insurance.
What is the difficulty level of the treks and canoeing?
Easy Level. Jungle treks last 1.5 to 2 hours with breaks for explanations. Canoeing is conducted safely. We adapt the pace to the group.
What should I bring?
Light clothing, insect repellent, sunscreen, raincoat, and appropriate footwear. Bring cash/card for personal expenses, additional drinks, and handicrafts. Beers and sodas are sold separately at the lodge.
When is the best time to visit?
Recanto do Maçarico is open year-round. The best time is during the high water season (June to July) when there is more wildlife and lush scenery. During the dry season (September to October), the trails are more accessible.
